The Super Brain Project (SBP) is an effort to develop a system of collaborating people and computers that interconnect via the internet and and work together to solve major problems for humanity as a whole as well as for individuals. This site will serve as a medium for integrating a diverse collection of projects into a unified whole.
We call this system a Super Brain (SB) because it represents the collective result of combining the efforts of all of our human brains. The Internet provides the enabling technology so that people around the world can collaborate to pursue common goals. The SB has the advantage of being able to communicate with millions of people around the world. It enjoys luxury of unimaginable memory resources and communications at lightning speed. The system should have a interface that makes it resources accessible to everyone. The system must demonstrate reliability and honesty so can be trusted. It will integrate wisdom and technology of the internet to provide useful service for its users. This sounds pretty comprehensive. As you look closely you will see where this effort parallels many other similar efforts. We consider redundancy and diversity healthy. We believe that technology belongs to the people. We strongly endorse the Open Source philosophy and feel that knowlege should be spread freely wherever possible.
One of the goals of this project is to make useful knowlege accessible to all with a minimum of effort by the user. One method for accomplishing this is to use artificial intelligent assistants wherever feasible to communicate appropriate information to those needing it.
Our principle philosophy is let everyone work together to make this world better.
The System architecture is flexible, dynamic, and multifaceted. We expect to develop a distributed network of heterogeneous computer systems using peer to peer communication to form an integrated net that will learn from its experience.
